There are no applications, no eligibility paperwork, and no complicated steps.
Find A Meal Location
Silver Spoon Meals partners with local churches and community centers across Anne Arundel County to host scheduled meal pickup locations.
- Locations are announced in advance
- Pickups are held on scheduled weekdays
- Friendly staff are available on-site

Seniors 55+ can visit a participating location during scheduled hours and purchase a freshly prepared hot meal for $6.99.

Poppa Dooks Silver Spoon Meals, Inc. is a nonprofit senior 55+ meal initiative serving Anne Arundel County. Our mission is simple: to provide affordable, nutritious HOT Meals to seniors 55+ living on fixed incomes while preserving dignity, independence, and community connection.
We believe no senior 55+ should have to choose between food, medication, or basic necessities.

Deamon Wilson, Founder
A lifelong Anne Arundel County resident with over 15 years of experience in the food industry, Deamon founded Silver Spoon Meals out of a deep respect for elders and a desire to give back to the community that raised him.
His vision is rooted in faith, service, and the belief that every elder deserves to be nourished with honor.

Seniors 55+ living on fixed, low or no incomes
We primarily serve seniors 55+ who:
- Live on Social Security or limited retirement income
- Face rising food and living costs
- Need affordable meal options without sacrificing quality
At $6.99 per meal, Silver Spoon Meals offers a cost-effective solution that helps seniors 55+ stretch their budgets while maintaining proper nutrition.
Seniors 55+ Aging In Place
Many seniors 55+ prefer to remain in their homes and communities as they age. We serve seniors 55+ who:
- Live independently
- May have difficulty cooking daily
- Want convenient access to prepared meals
- Are not ready for assisted living
Our community pickup model supports independence while reducing daily stress around meals.
Seniors 55+ With Limited Mobility Or Health Challenges
We also serve seniors 55+ who:
- Have limited mobility
- Experience health conditions that make cooking difficult
